Frequently Asked Questions
Performance Coaching (ARÉTĒ)
Who is ARÉTĒ for?
People who are serious about their health and performance and are done with generic advice. Our clients range from elite and professional athletes to executives and individuals who simply want to operate at their best long term.
What makes ARÉTĒ different from other high-end health programs?
Most programs, even expensive ones, give you a test and hand you a report. ARÉTĒ is different because the data never stops driving the decisions. Your program evolves based on what's working, what your goals are, and where your body is at any given time. Your coaches, clinicians, and scientists work together, not in silos. No guessing, no generic protocols, no chasing symptoms.
What type of testing is included?
We use the most appropriate and effective tools available to assess your physiology across our areas of expertise. You can see examples on our website. Clients don't enroll for specific tests — they enroll to solve a problem and reach a goal. Testing is simply the means to that end.
Do you look at previous testing or lab results?
Yes, and we encourage it. The more data we have, the better. We'll often retest to make sure markers are current, but historical data is always valuable context.
Is the program remote or in-person?
Fully remote. Some testing may require a visit to a facility near you. Our operations team handles all of that coordination.
How does the remote model work?
Testing is arranged at facilities near you. All coaching sessions and check-ins with your team happen virtually, built around your schedule.
Can I work with Dr. Galpin directly?
Yes. We offer a program with direct access to Dr. Galpin, available on an application-only basis. Book a call with an enrollment specialist to learn more.
How often will I interact with Dr. Galpin?
Dr. Galpin designed ARÉTĒ and continues to oversee the program. His thinking and standards are built into every part of it. Direct scheduled communication is not included in the standard program, but a higher-tier option with direct access is available. Ask your enrollment specialist for details.
I already have a personal trainer. Can I still use them?
Absolutely. Your trainer is welcome to join coaching calls and stay aligned throughout. ARÉTĒ is also a complete solution on its own — exercise coaching is fully included.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. We work with clients in many countries, though some locations present more logistical complexity. Book a call with an enrollment specialist to work through the specifics.
Do you use or recommend peptides?
Peptides aren't central to our work. We stay committed to tools grounded in scientific literature. That said, we have knowledgeable people in our network and can point you in the right direction.
Do you prescribe hormone therapy?
We don't prescribe anything. ARÉTĒ is not a medical practice. We have physicians in our network we refer clients to when appropriate, and we collaborate closely with them to keep everything aligned.
Do you work with insurance?
No. ARÉTĒ is not a medical service. It goes well beyond what traditional healthcare offers.
What does the program cost?
The investment depends on program duration and individual factors, but all options require a five-figure commitment. Book a call with an enrollment specialist to discuss what's right for you.
What's included in the cost?
All testing, analysis, interpretation, coaching, supplementation guidance, and protocols. No surprise add-ons.

Substantive enough to be useful professionally, accessible enough that you don't need a research background to get value from it.
Who writes and curates it?
Dr. Andy Galpin, Dr. Tommy Wood, and Dr. Ben House personally curate every issue. It's not AI-generated or outsourced. What you read each week is what they're actually paying attention to.
